Description

The ESS FirePro-1977 Series includes the most advanced low-profile willdand fire and rescue goggles on the market. The compact frame design prevents helmet interference while increasing peripheral vision. The FirePro-1977 Asian-Fit is a compact, low-profile goggle specifically optimized to contour Asian faces. This Asian-Fit design features flatter lens curves and extra-padded face foam. ESS is able to maintain undistorted optics, while providing superior comfort, absorption, and a gap-free fit. Featuring a one-piece, wrap-around strap with Velcro tabs, the FirePro-1977 Asian-Fit is also simple to attach to any helmet. The patented ESS Speed-Clip strap system makes adjusting the FirePro straps quick and easy, even with gloves on. The full-perimeter ventilation and filtration system minimizes lens fogging and filters airborne particles, dust, and debris. The FirePro-1977 Asian-Fit features extra-thick, battlefield-proven OpFoam, a durable anti-microbial face padding that provides maximum comfort and ease of cleaning. Like all other components of the FirePro-1977 Asian-Fit, the OpFoam is heat and flame resistant. The extra-thick, 2.8mm high-impact lenses provide wide peripheral vision and distortion-free optics. These lenses also feature ESS' advanced ClearZone FlowCoat lens treatments, which provide an optimal combination of anti-scratch coatings on the outside of the lens and anti-fog coatings on the inside. The Asian-Fit FirePro is compliant with wildland fire equipment performance requirements, including the 350°F for 5-minute oven test. They are also U.S. Federal OSHA compliant, exceed the requirements of ANSI Z87.1?2015, and are considered Primary Eye Protection by NFPA 1500. FirePro-1977 Asian-Fit goggles use Asian-Fit Profile Series lenses, all of which provide 100% UVA/UVB protection and distortion-free optical clarity. These high-impact, 2.8mm polycarbonate lenses meet and exceed ANSI Z87.1-2015 and CE.
